AAPA has put out the Call for Speakers and as PAHPM has done in the past, we are ready to help!

Speaking is a great opportunity to share your skills, educate fellow PAs, and grow the fields of palliative medicine and hospice care for PAs. It also looks great on your CV!  If you haven't spoken nationally before, or are a regular educator, let us know how we can help!

We are gathering Palliative Medicine & Hospice Care topic ideas, and sharing to facilitate those who would like to coordinate talks and receive an endorsement from PAHPM.  As in years past, we will review at our next Member Meeting July 22nd, and endorse those speakers and topics who we know will help further our field for PAs.

If interested in sharing your topics, click here!

    Attention Members!

We have two unique opportunities to help our PA Palliative Community!

Both are great opportunities to share your skills & knowledge,

    while building your own resume!

PA Foundation Seeking Palliative PA to Help "Author/Review"

The PA Foundation in partnership with the organization, Allied Against Opioid Abuse, are seeking a Palliative PA to help with a blog on the topic of "opioid abuse/misuse for families who may be caring for loved ones at home who are in hospice or palliative care and have pain meds in the home, which can be a risk to other household members.

Are you a PA working with experience with this population? This one has a quick turnaround--we need to know ASAP so that they can interview you the week of June 28th and with a small time commitment, work on a blog post around this topic.

Let us know us know if you are interested by June 26th!

Email Jeff Myers for more information!

AASPA Seeking a PA in Palliative to Speak
